Measuring Parallelograms
To measure a parallelogram you must straighten the lines by either making it into a rectangle or a square. Then you measure the height length and base. You multiply the length and then the width and the you put your answer squared.

Thats how I found out the answer. 16-4.1=11.9-5=6.9.

I expressed it into centimetres, so 41mm would be 4.1cm.

I prefer Domenico's way of doing it because I find it easier than the other 2 and I understand it very well, your going 16+12+16+12=48 and I prefer that other than Owen's and Daine's ways.

What have you learned about finding perimeters of polygons?
I have learned you need to measure every line or angle before you can make the answer, and if you don't have all the information, you can still do the question.

Reflection To Patterning
I understood this unit very well, but finding the rule was hard, I am going to prepare for the test to keep my marks up in math. My favourite part of the unit was doing the rule patterns, although they were hard, it still gave me a challenge.
